Heartbeats of Gold, Lives Saved Bold: Gold Hearts New York 

Gold hearts NY is a student-led club to help support kids with cancer in Peru. Gold Hearts is centered around providing emotional, financial, and practical support to children diagnosed with cancer and their families. Our goals include improving the quality of life for young cancer patients, raising awareness about childhood cancer in impoverished countries. 

Gold Hearts has fundraised to pay for many treatments, traveling and giving children necessary items for life such as glasses. Gold Hearts organizes events like soliciting and raffling items to raise funds. Along with collaborating with local businesses, schools, and other organizations to spread awareness about childhood cancer and garner community support. Collaborating with medical professionals and other nonprofits Gold Hearts is able to extend its reach and impact. By working together, these organizations can share resources, knowledge, and expertise to better serve children and families affected by cancer. Maintaining a strong online presence through a website and active social media accounts helps Gold Hearts connect with a wider audience, share success stories, provide updates on their activities, and encourage community engagement.
