In this blog post, we will be sharing facts about the cancer drug crisis in Peru. The shortage of cancer drugs has adversely affected more than 150,000 patients across the country the prices of devices and drugs have increased from 5% to 20% compared with 2021. Several significant chemotherapy drugs including docetaxel, paclitaxel, and ifosfamide are in short supply. SUMAQ Food Festival; our first event of the season on August 26th and 27th. Gold Hearts NY will be fundraising at the festival, which is being held at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, New York. You will be able to try Peruvian food from different regions of Peru, as well as live cooking demonstrations, Peruvian crafts, cultural dances, performances, and more!
